Democrats make it official
Uber reveals there were 6,000 reports of sexual assault during U.S. rides in the past two years, according to a long-awaited study that exposes the scale of safety issues facing ride-hailing companies. Uber also reported that 107 people died in crashes and 19 were killed in physical assaults. The Washington Post
The U.S. may be sending more troops to the Middle East. Pentagon officials say the goal would be to thwart a “threat stream” from Iran, whose recent moves include the transferring of short-range missiles into Iraq.
